Communication consulting for start-ups and SMEs

CockpitMedien was founded in 2021 and empowers start-ups and SMEs with professional communication through consulting, training and content start-up assistance. The offer ranges from the optimization of individual online channels (websites or social media) to crisis communication and overarching brand presentation.

CockpitMedien has its roots at the Technical University of Ilmenau: The founders Valeria Elsesser and Franciska Wollwert both studied applied media and communication science and got to know each other through their joint work in the communication department of a student association. The impulse to get creative together and get something going led to the founding of CockpitMedien. They were already able to build up a network of potential clients from the industry during their work in the association.

In young enterprises and start UPs kommunikative measures often stand behind and it lack the know-how in the team. This is where CockpitMedien wants to fill gaps and needs: The two founders advise on all aspects of digital corporate communications, train their customers and provide them with media for a quick start. Communication is a matter of trust, which is why the two take their time and work with customers to develop content and strategies that really move target groups. The goal is always to empower clients to take long-term ownership of their online communications.

Their achievements to date include the completion of several successful projects for their first clients, including a consulting project funded by the GFAW ("Gesellschaft für Arbeits- und Wirtschaftsförderung des Freistaats Thüringen"), which they were able to implement as accredited consultants of Ellipsis GmbH. Cockpitmedien was also funded as a project within the framework of #FastForward and via the Existenzgründerpass (Free State of Thuringia with funds from the European Social Fund). promoted.
